——————————————————————————————————————————

There are a few intended improvements of my game to 15 April 2024, regarding of my time available with finals week approaching. TT

  • Environment: More than a realistic scene, I am presently interested in Pool core, So I want to simulate this scenario, but there's no doubt I need to learn to add water. So, if that fails, I'll still build some generic scenes.
  • Effects: I'll try to do some effects that accompany the player falling into the water. There will also be sound effects or slowing down of actions, if necessary, but this may need to be programmed. For the worst if I really don't have so much time to finish learning them all, I'll make a particle effect.
  • Enemy: If I can find the resources for it, I'll try to modify the enemy models, although that insect is kind of cute while being creepy. ·v· (Second edition: No change. Cute. Increase speed XD)
  • Gun: I'll explore the prefab a bit, the gun rotation is indeed interesting, I could create a new gun if I understood it. (Second Edition: It turns out you can rotate by pressing "2".)
It makes sense that it would be best for different guns to have different characteristics, otherwise the level might be too easy. But scene balance is also important, as a pool core full of enemies does seem...a bit out of place.
  • More levels: It's definitely important, but more work indeed. I was thinking of combining it with a game of hide-and-seek. Or simply make the map bigger and the terrain more complex. (Second Edition: Sure, really a lot of prefabs, so I'm just short on time)

There are a lot of things to do generically, but if I were to rank them, my focus would be on level design first, building level maps using Probuilder. Then there's figuring out how to render the pool core or render another environment. Then I'm going to work on the guns. Because the past projects have not been presenting much in the way of level content. (Second Edition: Portal!)

Since my programming basics are still limited to the stage where I can read some code, I'll try my best.

—— Lastly, thanks for the shout out and happy finals! ——
